STEP 3: MARK AND CUT THE MOULDING

To install the moulding on the area that have been measured or at the corner which the area is less than the length of size, measure the total size of the area, mark the total size on the back surface of moulding with a pencil, then cut it with utility knife / penknife. Sand the cutting edge of the panels.

4

STEP 5: SMOOTH THE SURFACE AND APPLY PAINT

When all of the moulding has been installed, give the moulding a light sanding to smooth the joints and puttied screw holes. Apply a bead of paintable caulk to the edge of the moulding where it meets the wall, and fill in any other holes or gaps if needed. The moulding are now ready to be painted. To finish the project, apply your choice of paint to the moulding to give it a clean, finished look.

STEP 2: WALL SURFACE PREPARATION

The wall surface must be clean and even. Any holes must be filled prior to application. Wipe the wall and make sure the wall surface is clean, dry and free of debris. Plan your wall’s layout accordingly whether to install the panels from side to side, top to bottom, or from centre out. Measure the wall according to the length and determine how many lengths of the moulding will be needed. Once you've determined the total length, use your measuring tape and level meter to make a line.

3

STEP 4: ATTACH THE MOULDING TO THE WALL

Please refer to tools preparation 1

When all your pieces of moulding are cut, begin installing them starting with an inside corner (if necessary). Align the moulding with the level line you marked earlier. Attach the first piece to the wall with multi-functional glue and then secure it to the wall by using a screw. Additionally, the wall or moulding might not be perfectly straight, so you may have to maneuver the moulding to align it as you go along.
